Today is my first official day of summer!
One of my annual summer goals is to simplify my life and get rid of unneeded material items. Living in a small dorm-room the past 2 years really helped me to realized what I need and use on a daily basis and what is just junk taking up space. I began going through my closet last night and will hopefully finish my entire room by the end of the week. I already have a pretty good-sized pile of things to donate.
My other big goal for the summer is to start running at least everyother day. My friend and I are planning on running a 5K in October. I am using Hal Digdon’s Training Program to get ready. I thought this was a good length to start out with. I eventually want to run a marathon.
